Used to open really late prior to COVID but not anymore. Their crispy rice with salmon is so gooooood. Free herbal tea but refill will be additional charge. Used to be cash only but they accept card after covid. My go to spot whenever I'm in OC now that I no longer live in CA

We came here twice. One time dine in and one time take out. This place is busy. Short wait for a table. They packed the table very closed together and I found the table and chairs are not the cleanest. We ordered the house special porridge and house special yellow noodle soup. Both were delicious. Therefore we came back again and ordered the same thing for take out. I prefer ordering take out from here because dine in experience was not too comfortable. Plenty of parking.

I LOVE LUC DINH KY! I have been here a couple of times. I went here with my dad and sister today. I personally love their Wonton & B.B.Q. Pork Egg Noodle Soup since this is the only order I get. Today, I got Wonton & B.B.Q. Pork Egg Noodle Soup. The broth has great flavor in-depth, aromatic, and does not have too much fat. The bbq pork was delicious, lots of flavor, smooth texture, and easy to chew. The wontons are smooth, meat is easy to chew, and soft. I also love how they gave free chrysanthemum tea for free, but sadly refills are free anymore. Our refill was on the house for us. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. I try every Wonton & B.B.Q. Pork Egg Noodle Soup and it doesn't beat this place. I would definitely come back here for the dish that I love.

If you've ever wanted to discover a cure for hangovers, I think you should RUN here.* Any malaise that plagues your soul, may it be a heartbreak, a rejection from a job, OR you have a cold, the food here will transport you through a wormhole and drop you off at the land of Everything-is-OKAY. It has a manageable sized menu, so I was not paralyzed with the decision of choice. My Rice lovin' partner and I, chose this place because they enticing sound of "GRILLED RICE." We were expecting crispy, BUT not this kind of mind boggling crispy. Imagine the best rice you've ever had, then grill it until it's got those perfect crispy edges that make you question why you ever settled for plain rice (I'm Japanese, and partner Korean, we know GOOD rice). Now, smother that with beef stew so rich and savory, it could melt the most hardcore villain into a softie. I'm already a softie, so I turned into mush (tryna recover). It was a bit fatty, BUT good. We also had the wonton & BBQ pork with noodle soup. OH MY god. The broth was so deep and flavorful, it hydrated me to my core. I think this is what people mean when they say the food brought them back to life. Since I've never died, I can only imagine. It seems like it was well loved by the locals~ Lively and homey, you feel welcomed right as you walk in. PS. YOU also get free tea as you are seated, and I'm not the biggest fan of sweet tea, so I didn't drink too much and so as we were leaving a waitress got worried and asked me "did you hate the tea?" and although i did not like the tea, it was so nice of her to ask, and her melancholic face made me want to chug the tea right there. I would come back to just see the kind auntie waitress again

This is my go to spot when I'm craving salmon. Their fried salmon is sooooo good and the portions are very generous. It comes with crispy rice, but I love regular rice so I usually swap that out. The two sauces they give really enhances the dishes flavors and makes this dish that much more addicting. I also love how they give complimentary chrysanthemum tea too. Definitely give this place a try!

My friends SWEAR by the salmon with crispy rice plate but I prefer another option.. it's more juicy and flavorful and goes by the name of shaken beef (with crispy rice ofc). Very demure, very mindful, very filling. I also enjoy that they offer free iced chrysanthemum tea when you dine in. I don't get the hype with crispy rice bc the texture is too crunchy for my liking but worth a try. The workers are sweet but will prob only check in two times throughout your stay. That's chill with me as long as the food is good haha.

They give you free sweet tea which is very refreshing. Crispy rice is soooo good. If you like crunch get this! - Fried Salmon with Crispy Rice 3.9/5 Salmon is overcooked. Outside it's crunchy and inside is dry. They give you a side of sauce to dip it in. It was ok. - Shaking Beef with Crispy Rice 4.1/5 Chewy overcooked beef. It tastes very oyster saucey. Free parking in lot.

A solid place for Vietnamese food with a variety of options. I like that they gave you a complimentary herbal tea with each entree! Fried Salmon and Crispy Rice (5/5): Fish is cooked to perfection, crispy on the exterior and soft and flaky within. The crispy rice is a nice touch as the roasted rice has more of a complex flavor/texture with the fish. I love the sauce that they give you to eat it with, it really pulls everything together!
